Q: What is NOT covered with my payment?
A: Personal items such as shampoo, etc., soft drinks, alcoholic beverages (purchased at Full Moon), and raffle tickets.

Q: Can I bring my own liquor?
A: Personal stock alcoholic beverages are restricted to guest rooms ONLY.

Q: What is the nearest airport to Full Moon?
A: Albany airport is the closest, which is 1 1/2 hours from Full Moon. You can also fly into New York City, which is 2 1/2 hours away.

Q: How do I get from the airport to Full Moon?
A: By bus - Adirondack Trailways goes very close to Full Moon, and with advanced notice to Ashara, someone will come down the hill to pick you up. Their number is: 1-800-858-8555. Also, people can hook up that have flight times close to each other (on the Fest list), and you could share the cost of a rental car.

Q: Where can we smoke?
A: There is absolutely no smoking in any of the rooms or buildings at Full Moon, including the Performance Space. You may smoke outdoors, or in the porch attached to the Performance Space.

Q: Are there other things to do in the area?
A: Yes, there are ample things to do, such as hiking, fishing, and the picturesque town of Woodstock is only 1/2 hour away.

Q: Do I need to be a musician to attend?
A: No, no, NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Many people that attend Jonifest are NOT musicians! There is ample opportunity to participate in singalongs if you choose to, but it is not required or expected by any means!

Q: Full Moon is rustic. Is there housekeeping?
A: Housekeeping is not included, but is available for $20/day.

Q: Will there be a chance to practice music with other listers that I am collaborating with?
A: Yes, there will be sign-ups for use of the performance space during the day.

Q: When can I arrive on Friday?
A: The official check in time is 2PM, but special arrangements can be made through Ashara.

Q: What time do I need to be out by Monday?
A: Check out time is 11AM.

Q: Can I arrive a day or more ahead of time, or leave a day or more later?
A: Yes, arrangements must be made directly through Full Moon.

Q: Do I need to bring my own amp or microphone?
A: No, the sound person that has been hired will bring the equipment with him. A full drum kit is available by request.

Q: Is the water at Full Moon drinkable?
A: Yes, every tap is well water and very drinkable!

Q: Can I come for part of the weekend?
A: Jonifest prices are for the full 4 day, 3 night event. However, once the rooms are filled, you may sign up for 1, 2, or 3 days without accomodations. Please note that you still need to register online and send the hard copy release form. All information and day prices are on the registration page.

Q: Do I have to fill out the entire form when I sign up?
A: No. Just fill out as much as you can on the online form now, and add things as you know them. (Flight info, etc.) The most important thing right now is all the accommodation information, as I am assigning rooms as the deposits come in. Please remember to click "Save All Information" at the very bottom of the page EACH time you change any information.

Q: Should I send the form to you by hard copy?
A: No. Please do the online form online *only*, as it goes directly into a database that I can access for different purposes.

Q: Do I really need to send the release form to you by hard copy?
A: Yes. This is an absolute requirement!! I need to have this form from EVERY person that attends, including friends or significant others. Click on "this form" at the end of the release to print out the form. No one will be admitted without this form signed.

Q: I already have a lot of mailing lists I belong to. Is it really necessary to join the Northeast Jonifest mailing list?
A: Of course, it is up to you to decide whether to join or not, but there will be a lot of pertinent information that will go out on that list that you will need for your Jonifest weekend. Most of this information will not go through the main list.

Q: Can I join the list even if I am not going to attend the Northeast Jonifest 2007?

Q: Money is very tight right now. Do I really "have" to make a donation to Les to go to Jonifest?
A: Part of the spirit of the Northeast Jonifest has always been to raise money for the website that has meant so much to the Joni fan community, JoniMitchell.com. Donations can be made in ANY amount whatsoever. It is more about the joining in the spirit of the community, and sending what you feel comfortable with. Please remember to write that check directly to Les Irvin.

Q: Why do I need to add an extra 5% every time I make a Paypal payment?
A: Paypal charges me a fee every time I receive a credit card payment. This extra fee covers my cost for that.

Q: Is there internet access available at Full Moon?
A: YES!! Full Moon now has wireless internet available in the lobby area only.

Q: Is there cell service at Full Moon?
A: Unfortunately, Full Moon has not yet found a way to move the mountains surrounding the property that interfere with cellular service there. Friends and family can leave a phone message for you at the Full Moon desk at 845-254-5117. You can bring a calling card with you to use on the community phone, or you may purchase a calling card at the front desk.

Q: What if I'd like a double room but don't have a roommate?
A: If you are coming to fest and don't have a roommate, not to worry!! If you are in a double or triple room, you will be assigned one that hopefully will match your temperament. (Thus the question of "Are you a partier?") So, please don't feel you need to wait to sign up if you haven't found a roommate on your own!!
